Shelly and Eddie wanted something a little different for their engagement session, so when Shelly suggested we go search for some snow in Big Bear, I was all IN! I have spent quite a bit of time on the mountain over the years, so it's always a treat to go back and visit my favorite spots & explore new ones, too. We lucked out with some seriously PERFECT weather, which unfortunately meant most of the snow had melted away, but we did manage find some fresh powder for their pup Stella to roll around in! These two are just so easy to be around... they are so fun & natural together, not to mention chill & laid back! When we arrived and realized the parking lot to our first location was temporarily closed for the season (apparently it's a Bald Eagle sanctuary!), S + E calmly worked together to find an awesome alternate option in mere minutes, and if you ask me, I think that's a very good sign as they prepare to go into the lifelong partnership of marriage. I had the immense pleasure of spending a brisk, bright Saturday afternoon capturing these engagement photos with them in January, and I can't wait for their wedding at the Estate on Second in Santa Ana this June!
